The practical difference to a hotel in the centre: you do not travel through the city centre and you do not depend on a taxi across the Mittlerer Ring. During major fairs such as BAU, IFAT, productronica or EXPO REAL, the underground is the most reliable route to the grounds.
Add to that the early start: the breakfast buffet opens at 06:00 on weekdays. If you need to be at your stand by 08:00, you eat properly beforehand – rather than on the way.

How do I get from Hotel Königstein to Messe München?
From Hotel Königstein it is a few minutes' walk to Frankfurter Ring underground station, where you take line U2 towards Messestadt Ost. The U2 runs without changes to Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost, the two stations at the Messe München grounds in Riem. No change of train is needed and no taxi is required.
