Getting to Hotel Königstein on Frankfurter Ring

By underground

Take line U2 to Frankfurter Ring station. From there the hotel is a few minutes' walk along Frankfurter Ring. From the main station, the U2 takes around 15 minutes without changing; the same line runs in the other direction to Messestadt Ost at the Messe München exhibition grounds.

By car

From the A9 coming from Nuremberg or the airport, take the exit towards Frankfurter Ring and follow it westwards. Coming from the Mittlerer Ring, head north via Schleißheimer Straße or Knorrstraße. Lockable garages are available at the hotel for €13.00 per night; availability is limited, so please reserve in advance.

From Munich Airport

By car it takes around 30 minutes via the A9. By public transport, take the S1 or S8 into the city and change at the main station or Marienplatz to the U2 towards Feldmoching, alighting at Frankfurter Ring. Allow about an hour for the journey.

To Messe München

The U2 connects Frankfurter Ring directly with Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost. You stay on one train, independent of traffic on the Mittlerer Ring – during major trade fairs this is the most reliable route to the grounds.
