Again, very conveniently close to BMW... :-) I stayed at the Koenigstein for a number of meetings at BMW and for that reason it is a good hotel. The rooms are clean, modern and look nice, the breakfast is good, service is friendly. The following negative points prevented me from giving 4 stars: 1. The beds are horrible. The mattress' firmness is OK, but you're sleeping almost directly on the foam inside without any absorbing or breathing layer. Coupled with the hot duvet this meant I was sweating like a pig thru the night, even with the window fully opened and with freezing temperatures outside. 2. The bathroom partially had a parquet floor. The shower stall unfortunately had no door, so the wood was warped because of the water spilling out of the shower, hurting your feet. Furthermore I found this parquet underneath the washbasin rather unhygienic... 3. The Internet connection was a Telekom Hotspot, i.e. not included in the room price, and limited to 2 Mb/s if you were lucky. 4. The A/C didn't work. I don't know if this was due to the central override, but this is unacceptable if you pay for a room WITH A/C.... All in all I wouldn't recommend you to go elsewhere, but I wouldn't recommend it either.

Wir sind zwecks München Marathon angereist. Die ubahn und Bushaltestellen sind vor der Haustür . Die Innenstadt nicht weit entfernt  . Zur olympia park 20 min zu Fuß. Aldi und edeka auch in der Nähe Außerdem sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter , auch in der Küche und an der Rezeption Lage trotz der Baustelle ruhig Minus Punkt gibts beim Frühstück, da Brot und Semmeln nicht frisch waren Bei Gemüse zu wenig Auswahl Gerne nächstes mal auch

Sehr schönes business Hotel - modern, freundlich Das Hotel Königstein ist ein sehr schönes Business Hotel in München. Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet ohne jedoch auf Gemütlichkeit zu verzichten. Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man merkt daß das Hotel mit liebe geführt wird. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls sehr schön eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Die Größe ist großzügig. Schön ist auch das Bad mit einer barrierefreien Dusche. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. WLAN ist kostenfrei verfügbar. Hotel Bar in der Lobby vorhanden.

Hotel mediano Pelo mesmo preço fiquei em hotel bem melhor na cidade. É ao lado do metro, isso ajuda, mas achei o quarto pequeno (não peguei o mais barato mas sim uma categoria acima). Não tinha frigobar, a janela balançou a noite toda, o quarto e banheiro eram pequenos. Café da manhã fraco. Fiquei uma noite só e troquei de hotel.

Good ratio quality/price i booked this hotel so it would be convenient for my colleague to pick me up on the way to the office (i was there on business trip), so i didnt really choose but it was a good hotel. Nothing fancy though. the room was OK, nicely renovated. no mini fridge though. One problem: the blinds were very loud at night; the wind wasnt really strong but it was enough to make them slap on the wall outside. So i thought by keeping them opened, i would sleep. not only it didnt change anything, but it was very bright in the room (outside lights at night and then sunrise) so i had to sleep with an airline mask and some earbuds. Not cool THe TV channels list wasnt impressive if you dont speak German, but i managed with the french channels. The breakfast was below par. I requested sunny side up eggs and they brought me over-cooked and over-dry smashed eggs. next day, i tried to explain i wanted them fried, and i got sunny side up eggs. So it was just a lost on translation issue. Apart from the eggs, the rest isnt very exciting or diverse. But OK if you like dry pastries The staff was friendly and their communication skills in English were good. there is only one elevator, so be prepared to wait long time I would return again, just with lower expectations next time

Hotel mit uninteressiertem Personal Beim Hotel 14 Tage vor Übernachtung angefragt ob Parkplatz verfügbar ist. Auskunft war, dass zu jedem Zimmer ein Parkplatz gebucht wird Vor Ort hatte man keinen Parkplatz und gab mir die lakonische Auskunft man muss sich einen in der Umgebung suchen. Nachfrage in welche Richtung gab nur Unwillen obwohl drei Personen hinter der Theke standen. Am Ende bin ich 1,5km durch den Regen gelaufen. Business Trip The hotel is right beside the U2 stop underground stop so it’s great for getting into town, the airport and the Messe. The messe is about 35 mins. The room is clean and the breakfast is good. The breakfast selection is ok and could be better. There is a bar in the hotel - very quiet and not much selection. There is a supermarket and restaurant close by. My only problem and it was a big problem was my room faced the street. It was very noisy all night. Would I stay again? No, the noise was very bad. Basic hotel Tis hotel have a good location for me when I need to go to the BMW ITZ since it's very close and also nice to go to city center because we can use the U2 just by the corner. The rooms are OK in terms of furniture and size, but they are not soundproof. Even rooms to the backyard we can hear people speaking n the street or ambulances passing by. The pillow, well, too big. The breakfast is one of the poorest I ever ate. Not speaking in quality but in diversity. The fruit offer is short, the bread also. There's no sausages or bacon as an example. I have been in B&B with better diversity. The major problem for the hotel is the WiFi. An hotel that should be for business, I presume, that doesn't allow people to use VPNs and some mobile games can't connect to the servers means the WiFi is useless for modern usage.

Gutes Hotel Hatte das Hotel aufgrund eines Gutscheins gewählt. Ein sauberes, ordentliches und modern eingerichtetes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber, das Bad ebenso mit einer angenehm großen Dusche. Die Lage, 50m bis zur U-Bahn, Nähe zum Olympiapark hat Vorteile, wenn man München erkunden will. Das Frühstück war OK, leider gibt es nur ein kaltes Buffet, Rührei/Spiegelei muss bestellt werden und das Rührei ist tot gebraten. Einziger Abstrich: die Betten. Es sind zwar komfortable Betten, nur leider entwickeln die Matrazen bei der kleinsten Bewegung ein Eigenleben und ein mittlere bis große Spalte zwischen den Matratzen tut sich auf. Was not impressed First off way over priced for what they offer. Possibly they raise their rates during October fest. The room had no coffee maker, alarm clock, safe. Small room. My room was on the streetside. Good luck trying to get a full nights sleep with the traffic noise. The staff were so so but friendly. They have no ice machine so ice was an issue. I would go down and ask for a glass full of ice for my cocktails. Sorry the ice is for the customers at the bar! What am I not a guest? Ridiculous. The breakfasts were lacking, no eggs. High Price Not Commensurate with Amenities This hotel was recommended by the BMW Group since it is directly across the street from their location. While the hotel appears to be used frequently by business guests most likely in the automotive industry, there were some aspects that will leave you needing more. Parking was nearly non-existent, so this hotel is not good if you have a car. The hotel provides six parking spaces behind the hotel. The alley behind the hotel is a dead end and shares the alley with apartment residents and a bank. It was usually a cluster getting in and out. The air conditioning in the room was not performing at its best, so in the heat of summer it would be a problem. The breakfast was very basic but by no means like what you might normally get at a traditional German hotel. The location to the nearest underground stop was nice --- only a few steps. Schöne, gutgelege Location ☺ Super Frühstück mit nettem Personal. Es gibt immer frische Eier (nach eigenen Wünschen zubereitet). Das Hotel liegt gut an den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet mit Wasserkocher für Tee oder Kaffee. ☹ Man muss nicht mehr jeden Tag die ganzen Handtücher tauschen.
